D - The Roman numeral 500. CD is 400 or 100 less than 500.
D = r / t - Distance = Rate divided by time. The formula to determine distance traveled when rate and time are known.
Denominator - The bottom number of a fraction (the top number is the Numerator). The Denominator is the total number of parts.
Degree - The unit of an angle, angles are measured in degrees shown by the degree symbol:
Diameter - A chord that passes through the center of a circle. Also the length of a line that cuts the shape in half.
Difference - A difference is the result when one number is subtracted from another.
Digit - Digit is another word for a numeral or indiviual number: 1948 is a 4 digit number.
Dividend - The number that is being divided (the number inside the division bracket).
Divisor - The number that is doing the dividing (the number outside of the division bracket).
